  • Assisting The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (PGA) to achieve its goals of becoming accredited as a Standards Development Organisation (SDO) under Standards Australia’s Accreditation Board for Standards Development Organisations (ABSDO) and as a certifier under the Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand (JAS-ANZ).
  • Engaged by Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) Security Review, 2009ASIAL to undertake an independent review of its Monitoring Centre Grading and Certification Framework.
  • Developed the Product Safety Framework (PSF) on behalf of Standards Australia and in collaboration with the Infant and Nursery Products Association of Australia (INPAA), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), CHOICE (previously known as the Australian Consumers Association) and other key consumer and industry stakeholders. The  PSF is an innovative risk-based methodology that deals with specific safety hazards rather than specific products.
  • Engaged by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) to develop and facilitate a successful forum on stakeholder relations for senior executives.
  • Engaged by Standards Australia to develop a lexicon of key terms used in security on behalf of the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department.  StanCert consulted extensively with stakeholders in order to reach consensus on definitions for the ten most challenging terms used in the security domain.
  • On behalf of Standards Australia, organised a forum on reducing the regulatory burden on business and regulatory efficiency.  The forum involved panellists from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Commonwealth Regulation Review Taskforce, Australian Consumers Association, and leaders from industry.  This successful forum was attended by over 150 representatives from business.
  • Engaged by the Insurance Australia Group (IAG) to assist in the achievement of official certification and appropriate industry grading for the NRMA monitoring station. StanCert provided ongoing support to assist IAG to gain broad industry and community support for their new monitoring services and concepts.
  • Developed and presented training courses and workshops on risk management, integrated management systems, information security, product safety and auditing and assessment.
